C.W. Wes" Parrish

C. W. "Wes" Parrish
was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona. He grew up with a love for music and entertainment--making home movies as a child and, as a young adult, playing guitar in a local rock band called "Deadly Blessing" (Which he later named his production company) . Through an accelerated arts program in high school, C. W. was able to take part in a Video Productions program at KAET Ch 8 at Arizona State University. By 1986, C. W. had not only graduated high school, but also completed training and earned an Associates Degree in Advertising Design/Desktop Publishing and an Associates Degree in Video Productions. In 1989, C. W. had earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Video Production and Film Arts from Arizona State University.

C. W. Parrish went on to create "Deadly Blessing Video Productions in 1992. By 1993, his company had direct contact with the top people in A&R Departments in four record companies and began sending "Video Packages" for serious viewing by these A&R representatives. In 1994, C. W. and "Deadly Blessing Video" had their first music video aired on MTV’s "Head Banger’s Ball". In that same year, C. W. worked as a "student director" for a Miramax movie project entitled "Times Up". In 1995, C. W. was hired by Rolling Stone Magazine to go on a "Talent-Seeking Tour" which took him across twenty-three States over a six month period, corresponding and photographing the music scenes as he traveled. After returning from his stint with Rolling Stone , he began work on his first independent movie project entitled "The Blackening". C. W. Parrish, today, continues to be highly involved in the music and film industry and is working on making "Deadly Blessing Video Productions" a successful company in all future endeavors.
