Introduction to the Company Deadly Blessing Video Productions was created by C. W. Parrish in 1992 in Phoenix, Arizona. The company’s sole purpose was to make high quality music video packages for local bands at an affordable price. Music videos had become the ultimate way for bands to be seen as well as heard in the music industry and there was a growing demand for experienced music video production. At the time, however, most local bands would have to travel to another state and pay high prices for video production or settle for poor quality amateur videos. Having the knowledge, education and experience, C. W. Parrish and associates saw the need for local bands to be seen and heard via music videos and set the company into full motion, offering local bands various high quality but affordable video packages that would cater to their individual needs. Working with bands at local clubs and on location, we discovered that by mixing the musician’s talent with our staff’s wide variety of experience, we could create a unique and original quality music production. Over the last eight years, D. B. Video Productions has filmed and worked with over six hundred bands, filming everything from live shoots at small nightclubs to three-day on-location video shoots. Each video package is priced according to time involved with filming and editing and can be customized to fit the needs of each individual band. Deadly Blessing Video Productions also created a weekly music-based local cable television show called "Running Amuk In Arizona" in early 1999 which spotlighted local bands, nightclubs as well as special events in the Phoenix area and in the state of Arizona. Some of the local bands we have filmed will be listed separately. We have also been involved with filming national acts which have come to Phoenix and have highlighted their performances on our show as well. Some of the national acts filmed included: Billy Idol, Rob Zombie, Ozzy Osbourne, Alice Cooper, Loudmouth, Papa Roach, Ronnie James Dio, Dokken, Union Underground, Saliva, Disturbed, Megadeth and L.A. Guns. Deadly Blessing Video Productions finished a two month "Running Amuk in America" tour in August 2000 and has expanded the show to include talented musicians and entertainers throughout the United States to help promote local bands nationwide and increase their visibility to the general public and the music industry. The Show is now called "Running Amuk in America" and currently airs on Tuesdays @ 6:30pm on Cox Cable Channel 98 and Qwest Digital Channel 24. We are in the process of getting picked up by other Cable companies on a nationwide basis. For viewers outside the Phoenix Metropolitan area, you can contact your local cable stations for showtimes and dates or request "Running Amuk in America" if they don't already have it on their roster. Deadly Blessing Video Productions will continue to strive to provide high quality video packages to help promote local bands at an affordable price and expand to meet their needs as well as the needs of our company for greater visibility and influence in today’s music industry.
